Terms and conditions for using Prescriptly's online prescribing services.

Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: {{ now.Format “January 2, 2006” }}

Welcome to Prescriptly. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of prescriptly.uk (the “Website”) and the services, treatments, and products offered by Prescriptly (Anamma Ltd).

By accessing or using our Website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. About Us

Prescriptly is operated by Anamma Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We operate a clinical prescribing service regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) through our NHS pharmacist-prescribers. We partner with a registered UK pharmacy (Mediva Pharmacy) for dispensing. Regulatory details are displayed in the footer of this Website.

2. Our Services

We provide an online clinical consultation service resulting in the issuance of private prescriptions (where clinically appropriate) and the dispensing and delivery of medication.

  • Consultations: All clinical decisions are made by our UK-registered prescribers based solely on the information you provide during the online questionnaire or video consultation.
  • No Guarantee of Prescription: Completing a consultation or submitting payment details does not guarantee a prescription will be issued. Prescribing is entirely at the clinical discretion of the prescriber.

3. Your Responsibilities

By using our services, you confirm and agree that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
  • You are requesting treatment for your own personal use and not on behalf of anyone else.
  • Accuracy of Information: All information you provide in the clinical questionnaire is truthful, accurate, and complete. You understand that providing false or misleading medical information is dangerous and can lead to severe harm or death.
  • Updates: You will notify us immediately if your health conditions, weight, or medications change.
  • Instructions: You will carefully read the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) provided with any medication and follow the dosage instructions precisely.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain treatments (e.g., Weight Loss plans) are offered on a recurring subscription basis.

  • Authorisation: By entering your payment details, you authorise us to securely hold your card details and charge you on a recurring schedule (e.g., every 4 weeks or 30 days) for ongoing treatment.
  • Capture: Your card is only pre-authorised at checkout. Payment is only captured after a prescriber has approved your prescription. If you are deemed unsuitable for treatment, the authorization will be voided.
  • Cancellations: You may pause or cancel your subscription at any time via the Patient Portal before your next scheduled processing date. Once a prescription has been approved and dispensed by our partner pharmacy, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded due to UK regulations on medicines.

5. Delivery and Returns

  • Delivery: Medications are dispatched using temperature-controlled (where applicable) next-day delivery services. You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery.
  • Returns: By law, our partner pharmacy cannot accept returns of prescription medications for a refund once they have left the premises, even if they are unopened, as they cannot be reused or resold. If your order arrives damaged, please contact our support team immediately.

6. GP Notification

In the interest of patient safety, it is best practice to keep your NHS General Practitioner (GP) informed of any private treatments you receive. During the consultation, you will be asked for consent to share your treatment details with your GP.

  • For certain high-risk medications, sharing this information may be a mandatory condition of treatment.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prescriptly shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Your failure to provide accurate medical information.
  • Your failure to follow the medical instructions or the Patient Information Leaflet.
  • Any adverse side effects experienced, provided the medication was prescribed and dispensed correctly according to standard clinical guidelines.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
